This was a big week for Team Him. We submitted our Panavision New Filmmaker Program Equipment Grant application, which we have been working on for months in collaboration with our Director of Photography Kevin Galloway. If we receive this grant, we will have access to the best camera equipment in the business for free. Films such as Napolean Dynamite, Requiem for a Dream, and Out of Print were recipients of this grant. Please join us in crossing your fingers and toes that our project is accepted!
A big part of this application is sharing our visual inspiration for the film:
We’re interested in dynamic ways to frame multiple women in dark interiors, light bouncing off of pools, and of course… reference images from The Bachelor. And why is Florence Pugh running away into the desert? You’ll have to watch the film to find out!
Jam out to musical theatre tunes this Sunday in Sedona
Our Musical Cabaret Evening at the Sedona International Film Festival’s Mary D. Fisher Theatre is this Sunday, October 16! Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. This cabaret features Tess and Margaret Berkowitz performing alongside all star performers Laura Schein (who co-created the Richard Rodgers award finalist new musical Emojiland), Clayton Farris, and Jonny Perl.
$30 for 30 years?
Rebecca turned 30 this week! WOWZA! We can’t think of a better birthday gift than $30 towards making Him a reality. Let’s ring in 30 with a bang!
Special thanks this week…
Lauren Chambers, Chris Chase, John Kern, Mary Lechter, and Halah Zenhom for your donations. Thank you!

Jonny Perl, Laura Schein, Clayton Farris, and Margaret Berkowitz for participating in our Sedona show this weekend. Thank you!
